The Japanese clove cherry, botanically known as Prunus serrulata 'Kanzan', is an impressive garden plant that fascinates with its magnificent pink flowers in spring. It reaches a height of up to 6 metres and is ideal for larger gardens. This ornamental cherry prefers a sunny location and is hardy, making it very robust even in cooler climates.

The Japanese clove cherry flowers from April to May. During this time, it adorns itself with an abundance of pink-coloured flowers. In autumn, the foliage takes on a spectacular yellow-orange autumn colour, making the garden glow in bright colours.

Thanks to its beautiful flowers and striking autumn colouring, Prunus serrulata 'Kanzan' is an excellent choice for garden lovers who want to benefit from an attractive plant all year round.
