The Chinese reed 'Gracillimus', botanically known as Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus', is a particularly attractive plant for the garden, with an impressive height of around 1.5 metres and compact growth.

It prefers a sunny location and is hardy, which means it also survives colder winters well. The flowers are a delicate white-silver colour, making the Chinese reed an eye-catcher in the garden, especially in late summer and autumn.

Perennials
