Zollinger Bio Pepperoni, Frigitello (type de Padrón)

A versatile pepper that yields a rich harvest even in open fields. The rather small fruits are thick-walled, juicy, and very aromatic. They are harvested green or red when fully ripe; consumed raw or cooked, preserved in vinegar, or dried for winter. Especially suitable for Pimientos de Padrón: briefly fry in plenty of very hot olive oil as a Spanish tapa and season with coarse salt.
