Xyladecor Sleepers and posts

Protective solvent-based wood beautification product. Durable protection for new or already treated garden wood. A user-friendly alternative to Carbonlineum, it retains its color longer and has a mild odor.

Range of application: Specially designed for the treatment of new or Carbonlineum-treated sleepers in gardens, on paths, and terraces. Also suitable for fences, screens, barriers, pergolas, etc. Contains special solvents that allow for post-treatment of wood previously treated with Carbolineum.

Preparation for new and untreated wood: The wood surface to be treated must be clean, dry, and healthy. Remove dust, moss, and loose dirt. For sleepers already treated with Carbonlineum, one layer of Xyladecor sleepers and posts is usually sufficient. Apply two layers of Xyladecor sleepers and posts to new sleepers.

For already treated wood: Prepare the surface by dry brushing, sanding, or cleaning with high pressure. Treat wood affected by mold or insects curatively with Xyladecor Combi. Preventive protection against insects and blue mold can be achieved with Xyladecor Garden Wood Protection. Allow to dry. Depending on the desired color and covering power, apply 1 to 2 layers of Xyladecor Thresholds and Posts.

Application: Stir well before and during application. Ready for use. Apply with a wide long-haired brush.

Drying time: At 20 °C and 60 % relative humidity: Dust dry in 5 hours; Paintable in 16 hours; Commissioning in 24 hours. Density is approximately 0.99 kg/l. Finish: Light silky luster.
