Xyladecor Douglas fir oil

Especially suitable for Douglas fir wood, but also for other types of wood such as eucalyptus, oak, robinia, and cedar. Key product benefits and features: a low-odor care oil for protection and refreshing maintenance; penetrates deeply and provides effective nourishment; has water and dirt-repellent properties; revitalizes the color of old and already grayed wood surfaces; results in even, silky surfaces; easy to apply; impregnates: the beading effect protects the wood from moisture.

Preparation work: Clean the wood (e.g., with soapy water), let it dry, and possibly lightly sand with sandpaper or sanding fleece (wear a dust mask). For gray wood, it is advisable to use teak cleaner or wood cleaner and gray remover to restore the natural wood tone.

Handling and use: Shake the Douglas fir oil well before use and stir. Apply thinly and evenly with a flat brush or a clean, soft cloth. Allow the first coat to dry for at least 5 hours. Then apply another coat. For particularly beautiful surfaces on old wood, a third coat is recommended.
