Alpin Long-Term Protection Wood Stain

Durable weather protection even in extreme weather conditions.

Product quality: Protects wood from graying – pigments remain color-stable. The coating stays beautiful for longer. Achieve beautiful surfaces easily! Satin-gloss, breathable, does not peel – can be simply overcoated for renovations. Does not drip, even during overhead work. Up to 6 years of weather protection (depending on the weather side and structural construction).

Areas of application: For all new and old woods outdoors: facades, doors and windows (including their interiors), garden houses, privacy screens, and much more.

Coverage: approx. 12 m² with 1 coat, depending on wood type and absorbency.

How to properly stain:
1. Remove thick, flaking, and non-load-bearing old coatings. Do not inhale sanding dust! Wear a dust mask. Tie back plants. Do not work in open light or near open flames. Ensure good ventilation during application.
2. Cover the workspace with foil or paper. Brush or wipe off dust and dirt. Xyladecor Long-Term Protection Stain is ready to use and only needs to be stirred lightly.
3. For raw, untreated softwoods, we recommend using Xyladecor Wood Protection Primer. This effectively protects the wood from excessive moisture absorption and thus from wood discoloration. The coating will appear more beautiful and even.
4. Apply Xyladecor Alpine Wood Stain undiluted with a soft flat brush in the direction of the wood grain, applying 2 coats. New woods may require multiple coats.
5. A uniform surface can also be achieved by reworking with a squeezed-out brush about 10-20 minutes after treatment.
6. Stain wood cut edges and end grains 3 times with Xyladecor Long-Term Protection Stain. This reduces the leaching of colored ingredients from the wood.
7. Always keep the can well closed after use. Use leftover amounts within the same painting season.
