Wiltec 80-100L Replacement Membrane Pressure Tank Vessel Expansion for Domestic Waterworks EPDM

The replacement membrane for most common 80–100 liter membrane pressure tanks, as used in sanitary cold/hot water systems, pressure tanks in domestic waterworks, solar and pressure maintenance systems, as well as garden pumps. The membrane is made of EPDM rubber and is therefore suitable for drinking water.

Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Rubber (EPDM):

This rubber belongs to the group of elastomers. The material is characterized by its resistance to hot air, weathering, and ozone influence. The elastomer exhibits low gas permeability, good chemical resistance, and excellent damping properties against vibration and shock energy up to 100 °C.

In the low-temperature range, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber remains elastic down to −70 °C. The main areas of use and application for ethylene-propylene-diene rubber are air hoses and tire inner linings, heating bags, steam hoses, and container linings. Other applications include films, membranes, and unvulcanized sealants and tapes.
