Wiltec 100L INOX / Stainless Steel Pressure Tank Vessel Expansion Domestic Waterworks Pump EPDM-Membrane

This stainless steel expansion tank is used in sanitary cold and hot water systems. It is compatible with almost all domestic waterworks, solar and pressure maintenance systems, as well as garden pumps, and can also be easily mounted on the wall.

The 100-liter stainless steel pressure tank (tank type 100LH SS) is delivered to you with an EPDM membrane and a mounting plate for domestic waterworks. The tank is equipped with a 32.89–33.25 mm connection (old: 1 inch) and is designed for a maximum pressure of 5.4 bar.

The integrated valve (Schrader valve/automotive tire valve) of the pressure tank ensures that the back pressure of the membranes is controlled and regulated. The pressure tank is also equipped with a pump mounting plate, which has elongated holes with a diameter of 10 mm.

These pressure vessels are made from quality steel sheets that have been welded according to UNI-EN standards. They are also equipped with a heat- and aging-resistant EPDM membrane that can be easily replaced.

Regarding the pre-charge in the membrane tank: The pre-charge should be approximately 0.1–0.2 bar below the pump's cut-in pressure and must be checked at regular intervals. Failure to do so may result in damage to the EPDM membrane of the membrane tank. A more precise calculation can be derived from the formula "Pump cut-in pressure x 0.9". Example: If the cut-in pressure on the pressure switch of the domestic waterworks is set to 1.5 bar: 1.5 bar x 0.9 = 1.3–1.4 bar.

Important! The tank pressure should only be increased or decreased when the pressure in the water system has been released. Caution: Before opening a membrane tank, be sure to release the air and water pressure!.
