To reach deep-seated screws, the blade diameter of conventional electrician screwdrivers is often too large. However, removing the insulation is not permissible and endangers your safety. With the Wiha slimTechnology, specifically developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This enables easy access to deep-seated screw and spring elements with the slimBits.

The insulated slimBits are subjected to individual testing according to the international standard IEC 60900, allowing for safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. 6 mm slimBits can only be used in the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system). Tested according to IEC 60900. 5 mm (34589).
