The Smart-In staircase can accommodate a 3 kW heat pump. With a heat pump, temperatures can be heated or cooled from -5 °C to +40 °C, allowing for a savings of 70-75% on heating energy. Inside the staircase, there is also storage space for towels or chemicals. Additionally, there is a compartment for charging mobile phones, equipped with a USB port.
