The Voltcraft measuring lead MSB-300 is optimized for electrical connections and low-voltage measurements in laboratories and crafts. The rated current is 10 A, and the rated voltage is 30 V AC (alternating current) and 60 V DC (direct current). The cable material used is extremely flexible and of exceptional quality. Unlike cheaper and stiffer materials, tangling is nearly impossible. The increased tensile strength and particularly tear-resistant plastic fibers enhance the lifespan. The measuring lead is heat-resistant, insulated with silicone, and is insensitive to heat damage that can occur when working with hot soldering irons. For your safety, the measuring lead is double insulated in two colors. If the first insulation layer is damaged, a differently colored insulation layer becomes visible. This wear indicator reliably shows when the cable is worn out. For safety reasons, damaged measuring leads should be replaced immediately. The hard-nickel-plated surface coatings of the 4 mm lamella connectors provide a secure contact and allow for a high number of mating cycles.
