Extremely Robust Multimeter
The Voltcraft VC-450 E multimeter is ideally suited for electricians, installers, and service technicians working in harsh environments. A range of features makes this device the first choice for daily use.
Tough and Durable
A two-component housing with an encompassing soft rubber protection shields the measuring device from all sides, as well as the display from damage when dropped on hard surfaces. It can withstand falls from heights of up to 2 meters. Its rubberized casing also provides a very good grip.
Water and Moisture Protection (IP65)
The measuring device is designed so that rain, snow, or even a water jet will not cause it to malfunction. It can be used and stored in locations with high humidity, such as industrial sites, machine rooms, and not completely dry garages, without any issues.
Dust and Dirt Proof
The housing, sockets, and all controls are constructed to be completely dust-tight. Even after many years, the measuring device remains as functional as on the first day.
Non-Slip When Lying Down and Opened
The Voltcraft VC-450 E maintains a non-slip contact with the surface thanks to its rubberized back. When opened, the device remains securely in place thanks to an integrated rubber surface in the bracket.
Accurate Measurements with True RMS
The True RMS measurement allows for the precise measurement of asymmetrical voltages and currents that deviate from the fundamental form of the sine wave. Asymmetrical voltages typically occur with power controllers such as dimmers, speed controllers, switched-mode power supplies, pulsed chargers, or electronic speed controllers in model building. Conventional average-value measuring devices can show significant measurement deviations in these tasks.
Phase Sequence Tester
Electricians are familiar with the issue of three-phase connections. Only when all three phases are connected in the correct order will a three-phase motor rotate in the desired direction.
