The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series, classified as S2/S3, is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is aimed at industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade.

Particularly lightweight and flexible, the shoe features a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation, a compact design, an anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and is non-magnetic. It includes a non-metallic, puncture-resistant insole that complies with the latest standards, without compromising the shoe's flexibility.

Manufactured with new last technology for exceptional comfort, the shoe offers optimized wearing comfort thanks to uvex climazone technology. The hydrophobic and breathable upper material is made from particularly soft cowhide leather, ensuring optimal ventilation through the Distance Mesh lining material.

Individually adjustable elastic laces with a quick-release mechanism are included, as well as standard interchangeable laces. The nearly seamless upper construction helps to avoid pressure points. The removable comfort insole is antistatic, features a moisture transport system, and provides additional cushioning in the heel and forefoot areas.

The softly padded shaft and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of an exceptionally lightweight and highly shock-absorbing midsole, along with a very good slip-resistant outsole that is free from substances that could affect paint wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. A molded polyurethane toe cap protects the upper leather above the toe cap for significantly longer durability. The shoe meets ESD requirements for permeability resistance.
