Note: The functional principle of the screw load pressure brake generates the axial braking force from the load itself, making it proportional to the size of the load. The load is securely held in any position; to lower it, the difference between the brake and load moment must be overcome. All Yale universal devices are equipped with this feature. The automatically acting chain release allows for quick attachment of the unloaded chain, and when a load is applied, the screw load pressure brake automatically engages again, securely holding the load. The slip clutch (optional upon request) prevents excessive load absorption, thereby increasing the lifespan of the lifting device.
