The emergency stop mushroom button from Tracon is a safety-related product designed in a yellow housing. With a diameter of 40 millimeters, this switch offers user-friendly operation and is suitable for applications with a rated current of up to 3 Amperes at 400 Volts AC. The protection class IP42 ensures that the button is protected against the ingress of solid foreign objects larger than 1 millimeter as well as against dripping water. The button is not designed for smart home applications and features a switching contact of type 1×NC (normally closed), meaning that the circuit is closed in its normal state and opens when the button is pressed. This product is supplied as a single unit and is ideal for industrial applications where immediate emergency shutdown is required.
