Solvent-free, permanently elastic wall and ceiling paint with a fine texture for indoor use, washable according to EN 13 300.

Clay paint is breathable and moisture-regulating. It contributes to a healthy indoor climate, is antistatic, provides good coverage, and can be applied with minimal dripping and splattering. With a very high solid content, the paint has excellent filling and covering properties.

Areas of application:
For opaque and filling coatings on dry, absorbent, grease-free surfaces such as wallpaper, plaster, and common mineral surfaces, as well as on solid old coatings and wood.

Drying time:
Repaintable after 6 to 12 hours, depending on room temperature and humidity. Final drying after approximately 10 days.

Coverage:
Approximately 0.10 to 0.17 liters per m²; about 6 to 8 m² per liter.

Preparation:
Water-soluble old coatings such as glue or lime paints must be thoroughly removed. Non-adhering paint residues should be brushed off. Very smooth and less absorbent surfaces should be mechanically roughened. Highly absorbent and powdery surfaces must be pre-treated.

Application:
The paint is applied evenly and thinly with a roller or brush. The paint should be spread evenly in all directions. On light surfaces, usually one coat is sufficient. On highly absorbent surfaces (clay plaster, aerated concrete, etc.), a preliminary coat with diluted paint (max. 10% water) is recommended. After drying, the final coat should be applied undiluted. Each layer of paint must be dry before applying the next coat. Note: Clay paint is a natural product that may exhibit slight color variations from batch to batch. Consistency between batches should be ensured during application. Buckets from different batches should be mixed together if necessary.
