The soft starter PSE85-600-70 has a maximum operating current of 85 A with an operating voltage range of 208 to 600 V AC. The rated control voltage is between 100 and 250 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The PSE features a two-phase control with a soft start and stop through a voltage or torque boost. It has an integrated bypass for easy installation and energy savings. A RUN, TOR, and event signal are available via a relay output in the normally open state. The PSE includes functions such as current limiting, kickstart, analog output, end-of-line, underload, and locked rotor protection. To interact with the PSE, it has a backlit display that uses symbols to remain language-neutral. An identical external keypad with an IP66 protection rating can be added optionally. There are three ways to communicate with the PSE: wired inputs for start/stop or resetting faults, integrated fieldbus communication Modbus RTU, or using an external adapter and fieldbus connector. The PSE is a true universal soft starter that offers a perfect balance between high starting capacity and cost efficiency.
