IEC 60947, EN 292, EN 60204, EN 1088. XCSMP safety interlock switches. Introduction to the XCS series of safety switches. The switches have been developed in accordance with the currently applicable standards IEC 60947, EN 292, EN 60204, EN 1088 to ensure the safety of machine operators and operational reliability. Protection of personnel by stopping the machine when the actuator element attached to the machine guard is pulled out of the switch head. When installed correctly, they provide a control circuit of category 3 according to EN 954 or category 4 according to EN 954 (in combination with the XPS safety module from Preventa). Made of plastic, double insulated, rotary head, types XCSMP, XCSPA, and XCST key switches with and without locking of the actuator element. Miniature design with a plastic housing, pre-wired, lengths of 2 m, 5 m, or 10 m. Max. actuation speed: 1.5 m/s, min. 0.05 m/s. Mechanical stability: over 1 million switching cycles. Max. operating rate for maximum lifespan: 1200 switching cycles per hour. Operating temperature range: -25 to +70 °C, for storage -40 to +70 °C (-25 to +80 °C for XCSMP).
