The higher the number, the finer the grit, resulting in a smoother finish. The eccentric sanding paper has a coarser grit, making it ideal for the initial sanding of a wooden surface. Additionally, it can be used to remove imperfections such as scratches and to level the surface. The sanding paper for eccentric sanders is supplied in a set of 10.
