Product details

The Stier combination tap bit is a versatile tool that combines the three essential steps of threading into a single bit: drilling, tapping, and deburring/countersinking. This product is specifically designed for creating internal threads according to DIN 13 and is excellent for through holes. With a maximum thread depth of 1.5 x d (d = nominal diameter), the bit is ideal for soft construction steels up to 500 N/mm² as well as automatic steels and construction steels up to 800 N/mm². The hexagonal shank according to DIN 3126 allows for easy handling in standard drills or cordless screwdrivers with right/left rotation. The ground HSS-G design ensures high precision and durability, while the drill tip with cross grinding provides a clean cut. The combination tap bit is also conditionally suitable for processing brass and aluminum.
