Product details

The Stier combination tap bit is a versatile tool that combines the three essential steps of thread cutting into a single product: drilling, threading, and deburring/chamfering. This innovative design allows for efficient machining of internal threads according to DIN 13, particularly in through holes. The tap is ideally suited for soft construction steels up to 500 N/mm², as well as automatic steels and construction steels up to 800 N/mm². Additionally, it can be used conditionally for machining brass and aluminum. The hexagonal shank according to DIN 3126 ensures that the bit fits all standard 1/4-inch extensions, making it easy to handle. With a maximum thread depth of 1.5 x d (d = nominal diameter), this tap provides a precise and reliable solution for various applications.

  • Combines drilling, threading, and deburring in one tool
  • Suitable for soft construction steels up to 500 N/mm²
  • Maximum thread depth of 1.5 x d for precise results
  • Hexagonal shank according to DIN 3126 for universal compatibility.
