Stanley MaxSteel Sheet Metal Shears 250 mm, red, left. This sheet metal shear from Stanley, with the item number 2-14-562, belongs to the category of cutting tools - sheet metal shears. It features a bi-material plastic handle for enhanced comfort and slip resistance. The shear components are chrome-plated and made from a forged steel alloy (chromium-molybdenum). Patented hinge parts allow for easy handling. The one-handed operation with an automatic snap lock is released by pressing the handle. It is suitable for cutting sheets up to 1.2 mm thick for metal and 0.7 mm for stainless steel. The double-spring suspension ensures a long service life. This sheet metal shear is suitable for sheet metal, aluminum, plastic sheets, wire mesh, leather, copper, and plastic.
