Product details
When it comes to maximum reliability and ease of processing, our wood construction screws come into play. Their strengths, such as a significantly reduced driving torque and very low splitting effect, are particularly sought after in timber construction, as the typically large wood dimensions allow for a quicker insertion of the wood screws, resulting in real time savings. We particularly take advantage of this in structural timber construction, where our partial and full-thread screws are used for highly load-bearing and durable wood connections.
The major advantage of such a screw connection is that the usual metal brackets and fittings for wood connections are completely eliminated. In addition to the economic benefits—since fittings often need to be completely removed—there is also the significantly more pleasant pure wood appearance to consider. This means for you: You save a lot of money on expensive wood connectors that do not contribute to the aesthetics of a timber structure. Highly load-bearing and durable wood connections can be made in the simplest way.
For the fastening of stairs, wooden construction elements, or battens in roofs and walls, high holding forces are especially important. Our universal screw with a flat head and partial thread provides that. The large flat head pulls two components together with great force, while the optimized partial thread is tailored to the high load capacity of the flat head. We have adjusted the shaft length to the most common wood thicknesses.
The interplay of the large flat head and optimized partial thread allows for a reduction in screw diameter (5 mm instead of 6 mm) while maintaining the same load-bearing capacity. This naturally benefits the driving speed. This means for you: Smaller screws are sufficient for the same application, saving you weight, time, and costs.
