Spax Universal screw

The universal screw is the ultimate all-rounder in Spax's product range. It can handle almost anything – for example, it can be driven into softwoods like spruce and pine, as well as into common wood-based panels (MDF, particle board, and OSB panels) without the hassle of pre-drilling. The universal screw demonstrates its superiority especially in interior construction and furniture building, but it is also well-suited for outdoor use with the appropriate corrosion protection. Thanks to its special thread geometry, the driving resistance when screwing is significantly lower than that of conventional screws, which not only saves your energy and nerves but also extends the battery life of the screwdriver being used. Splitting of the wood near the edges is almost completely prevented. This means for you: you can drive in more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about split wood ends.
