The BLAX SK chipboard screws from Spax are specially designed for applications in woodworking. They feature an innovative 4CUT tip that allows for easy and precise driving into various materials. The screws are coated with a BLAX finish, which consists of a chromium VI-free zinc flake coating with a black topcoat. This coating not only provides high corrosion protection but also includes an integrated lubricant that facilitates handling and driving of the screws. The BLAX SK screws can be used in service class 1 according to EN 1995-1-1 and are characterized by high strength and durability. Additionally, there is no risk of hydrogen embrittlement, making them safe for use in demanding applications. With a partial thread and a countersunk head design, these screws are versatile and provide a reliable connection.
