The BLAX SK chipboard screws from Spax are specifically designed for applications in wood processing. They feature an innovative 4CUT tip that allows for easy and precise insertion into various materials. The screws are coated with a BLAX coating, which consists of a chrome VI-free zinc flake coating with a black topcoat. This coating not only provides high corrosion protection but also includes an integrated lubricant that facilitates handling and driving. The BLAX SK screws can be used according to EN 1995-1-1 in service class 1 and are characterized by high strength without the risk of hydrogen embrittlement. With a diameter of 3.5 mm and a thread length of 18 mm, they are versatile and ideal for various wood connections.
