The universal screw is the ultimate all-rounder in the SPAX range. It can do almost anything – for example, it can be driven into softwoods like spruce and pine, as well as into common wood-based panels (MDF, particle board, and OSB) without any pre-drilling. Our universal screw demonstrates its superiority especially in interior construction and furniture building, but it is also suitable for outdoor use with the appropriate corrosion protection. Its special thread geometry significantly reduces the driving resistance compared to conventional screws, which not only saves your energy and nerves but also extends the battery life of the screwdriver being used. Splitting of the wood near the edges is reliably prevented. This means for you: you can drive more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about split wood ends.
