Bearing series 12, 22, 108, 126, 129. Self-aligning ball bearings feature two rows of balls and a common concave spherical raceway in the outer ring. They are angularly movable and insensitive to angular misalignments of the shaft relative to the housing. This makes them particularly suitable for bearing applications where significant shaft deformations or alignment errors are expected. Self-aligning ball bearings also have the lowest friction losses of all rolling bearings, allowing them to operate more quietly and cooler even at higher speeds.
