Sika Sikasil-C

Sikasil C is a one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Sikasil C is suitable for sealing on glass, metal, wood, acrylic, polycarbonate, and ceramic tiles. The substrate must be clean, dry, level, and free from grease, dust, and loose particles. Any paint, cement skin, and other weakly adhering materials must be removed. Sikasil C is supplied ready to use. After proper cleaning and substrate preparation, insert the cartridge into a hand or pneumatic gun and apply Sikasil C into the joints, ensuring contact with the joint sides. Air inclusions should be avoided. Use masking tape if sharp and very precise joint lines are desired. The tape should be removed while the sealant is still fresh. For a perfect surface finish, a wetting agent can be used for smoothing.
