Sikaflex-522 is a low-emission, one-component STP adhesive and sealant. The product has good weather resistance and mould resistance. High resistance to ageing and weathering. Good resistance to mould. Particularly low-emission and low-odour. Fulfils the highest EHS requirements. Shows good adhesion to a wide range of substrates with minimal pre-treatment. Isega certificate for use in the food sector. Meets the hygiene requirements for air conditioning and ventilation systems in accordance with VDI 6022, Sheet 1:2011-07. Emicode EC1PLUS certified. Areas of application: Sikaflex-522 shows good adhesion to a wide range of substrates and is suitable for elastic sealing and bonding applications indoors and outdoors. This product is suitable for applications in the air conditioning and ventilation sector as well as for food processing plants. Suitable substrates are wood, glass, metals, metal primers and paints (two-component systems), ceramic materials and plastics. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations before using Sikaflex-522 on materials susceptible to stress cracking. Preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials to avoid stress cracking. This product is only suitable for experienced users.
