Plastic position switch with a diameter of 50 mm and enhanced corrosion protection. Device connection 2x (M20x1.5), 1S/1Ö slow contacts. Functional at -40 °C. Shock and vibration tested according to EN 61373, Category 1B. Mechanical position switches SIRIUS 3SE5 for position and orientation detection of machine parts as well as for monitoring the position of safety devices in extreme environmental conditions down to -40 °C, e.g., in wind turbines, the food industry, or railway applications. The devices are suitable for use in extreme environmental conditions due to their high protection class. They feature enhanced corrosion protection, are shock and vibration tested, and are globally certified (IEC, UL). With the appropriate switch configuration, the highest safety requirements according to PL e or SIL 3 can be met. Various housing sizes in plastic or metal are available. Additionally, variants with separate actuators or with locking are offered. Depending on the version, various drives and separate actuators are available as accessories. Safety is a SIRIUS business.
