Position switch basic switch metal, 40 mm, according to EN 50041 with increased corrosion protection. Device connection 1 x (M20 x 1.5), 1S/1Ö snap contacts, operational at -40 °C. Shock and vibration testing according to DIN EN 61373, Category 1B. Mechanical position switches SIRIUS 3SE5 for position and location detection of machine parts as well as for position monitoring of safety devices in extreme environmental conditions down to -40 °C, e.g., in wind turbines, in the food industry, or for railway applications. The devices are suitable for use in extreme environmental conditions due to their high protection class. They feature enhanced corrosion protection, are shock and vibration tested, and are globally certified (IEC, UL). With the appropriate switch configuration, the highest safety requirements according to PL e or SIL 3 can be met. Various housing sizes in plastic or metal are available. Additionally, variants with separate actuators or with latching are available. Depending on the version, various drives and separate actuators are available as accessories.
