Essentially, the components that make up a high-quality sports helmet are comfortable fit, highly efficient ventilation, proven aerodynamics, reliable safety, and maximum wearing comfort. However, it is our decades of experience in developing motorcycle helmets, our uncompromisingly high manufacturing quality, and our forward-looking perspective on the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s motorcyclists that transform these features into a premium sports helmet: the compact and lightweight SHOEI NXR2, in the tradition of high-quality sports helmets from the XR series.

Safety
Its outer shell made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) provides optimal impact protection in conjunction with a polystyrene core system composed of multiple elements with varying absorption capabilities.

The newly developed CWR-F2 visor for the SHOEI NXR2 features a two-dimensional shape that allows for distortion-free and very natural visibility. Reinforcements at the upper and lower visor edges increase torsional rigidity, while a centrally positioned locking mechanism prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. Thanks to an improved mechanism from the previous model, it can be quickly and tool-free changed and adjusted.

The enlarged, anti-fogging PINLOCK®EVO visor included with the helmet allows for an unobstructed view across a large portion of the usable field of vision, even in challenging weather conditions, due to its far-back mounting points.

The chin strap with double-D closure is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet securely in place. In case of an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed for gentle helmet removal thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System).
