Sporty road helmet
The whole is always more than the sum of its parts. However, it is decades of experience in the development of motorbike helmets, uncompromisingly high quality workmanship and a research-based focus on the demands of today's and tomorrow's motorcyclists that turn these features into a premium sports helmet: the compact and lightweight Shoei NXR2, in the tradition of high-quality sports helmets from the XR range.
Safety
Its outer shell made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), combined with a polystyrene core system made up of several elements with different absorption capacities, offers optimum impact protection.
The CWR-F2 visor developed for the Shoei NXR2 with two-dimensional moulding enables distortion-free and very natural vision. Reinforcements on the upper and lower edge of the visor increase torsional rigidity, while a locking mechanism, now located in the centre, prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. It can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools thanks to an improved mechanism from the previous model.
The enlarged, anti-fog PINLOCKEVO visor supplied with the helmet allows an unclouded view over a large part of the usable field of vision, even in difficult weather conditions, thanks to the fixing points being offset far to the rear.
The chin strap with double-D fastener is easy to adjust and holds the helmet securely in position. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) for gentle helmet removal.
