With the VFX-WR 06, SHOEI takes the radical construction and design of its predecessor even further. State-of-the-art shell construction technology allows for the shaping of a highly stable yet lightweight helmet shell with a futuristic and aggressive look. Continuous contours from the visor over the helmet shell to the back of the head provide shell stability, perfect goggle strap guidance, and an unparalleled appearance. The new integrated safety system M.E.D.S. (Motion Energy Distribution System) ensures optimal reduction of rotational energy in the event of a fall.

Safety
A 6-layer composition of fiberglass, organic fibers, and high-performance fiber materials forms the basis of the AIM+ outer shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06. Together with a polystyrene core system made up of multiple elements with varying absorption capabilities and the new Motion Energy Distribution System (M.E.D.S), the helmet shell offers optimal impact protection while maintaining a relatively low overall helmet weight. In the multi-part EPS core of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06, flexibly connected inner shell elements reduce the risk of injury upon impact by minimizing rotational energy. The chin strap with a double-D buckle is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet securely in place. The EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) facilitates the removal of the cheek pads in an emergency, allowing for gentle helmet removal. The SHOEI VFX-WR 06 meets the requirements of the new motorcycle helmet testing standard ECE-R 22.06.
