This new side-mounted cooling unit from Schneider Electric is ideal for office and industrial buildings, particularly for automation and control systems as well as distribution cabinets. It is intelligent, compact, and reliable. Depending on the available space, it can be installed flush with the outer wall of the cabinet or semi-flush or surface-mounted within the room. For global use, it complies with IEC14511 and UL60335-1 as well as UL60335-2-40. This cooling unit is made of steel and offers an internal IP55 rating. It has a cooling capacity of L35-35 of 2000 W according to EN 14511. It operates at a voltage of 380/460 V, 50/60 Hz, 3 phases. Through the standard Modbus interface, the cooling unit is 100% compatible with any SCADA system. Remote alarms and operational data enhance the reliability of the manufacturing process, resulting in reduced downtime, faster and easier troubleshooting, and a longer lifespan for electrical components. The new connected cooling units can be easily designed using the ProClima Web heat calculation tool - macros can be imported plug and play into applications such as SEE Electrical by eTap. With these tools, it is possible to select, optimise, and design a complete switchgear system (including enclosures, devices, and heat solutions) in 3D and 2D within minutes. Furthermore, Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure apps and analytics facilitate process monitoring with real-time data and actionable recommendations for more efficient operation and maintenance (both preventive and predictive).
