Product details
Accessory type: Contact element
For use with: Foot switch
CSA. XPE metal foot switch. Foot switch with a metal housing, available with or without a protective cover. The versions with a protective cover are highly recommended for high-risk areas where unintentional machine activation can occur due to human interaction or falling objects. Foot switches with 2-stage contacts are ideal for machines with two speeds. The first stage (6 mm actuation travel) activates a set of normally open and normally closed contacts, before the second stage, after the full actuation travel (12 mm), activates the other normally open and normally closed contacts. The versions with a trigger mechanism allow the pedal to be locked in the resting position and can only be pressed down again after a direct action. Available with or without a triggering mechanism in 1- or 2-stage versions. The large pedal surface ensures good foot stability and high operating comfort. The high and wide protective cover fits large safety shoes. Can be mounted flush to the floor or on a pedestal for added stability. Blue IP66 metal housing.
