Matilda has the typical elongated pear of a butternut pumpkin. The fruits ripen early, are nicely ribbed, can be stored well and weigh up to 4 kg.

from mid-May; warm and sunny location, distance 1 x 2 m
high nutrient and water demand, thrives well on compost heaps
mature pumpkins can be stored at approx. 15-18 °C
