RS Pro worm drive hose clamps. These hose clamps are made from high-quality cold-rolled steel with a special surface treatment. The band is processed to remove burrs from the edges and increase strength, ensuring a high non-destructive torque. It protects soft hoses from damage during installation and preserves the hose walls in outdoor applications. The housing is riveted to enhance strength and ensures uniform contact with the hose. Standard worm drive hose clamps according to BS5315 are available in soft steel. The clamps are marked with the BSI Kitemark and the corresponding BS size number. The recommended tightening torque depends on the clamp size: 12-20 mm = 4.5 Nm, 22-25 mm = 5.6 Nm, 30-40 mm = 6.8 Nm, 50 mm = 7.9 Nm.
