Each starter is shipped without overload protection; therefore, a suitable RF38 series overload protection must be selected to match the motor's VSL. This series includes enclosed, direct on-line motor starters that combine high performance with low cost. The series supports motors from 5.5 kW to 11 kW and includes options with and without an isolator. The molded plastic enclosure provides IP65 protection from media ingress and meets IEC/EN 60947-1 and IEC/EN 60947-4-1 standards. The operating temperature range is -25 °C to +60 °C. Options without an isolator have space for mounting an additional 17.5 mm wide module, such as a timer, level control, or monitoring relay.
