This RS PVC standard hose is transparent and reinforced, making it an economical choice for simple requirements. It is ideal for universal use and is especially popular for industrial compressed air equipment. The hose can also be used for food contact applications. Made of transparent PVC with low toxic content, it is reinforced with high-strength polyester fibers.

Features and benefits include excellent visibility due to crystal clear transparency, excellent abrasion resistance, and the use of cadmium and silicone-free materials from a special non-toxic, odorless PVC formula that minimizes the taint of drinking water. It is suitable for food, water, chemicals, gas, and fuel oils. The hose is EC compliant for food contact applications and RoHS compliant, with high resistance to a wide range of acids and alkalis.

Operating temperature is from -15 °C to +60 °C. The specially selected high-strength polyester fibers are used at an optimum braid angle of 54° 44' (54.73°), providing an effective and balanced high-pressure hose. Manufactured in accordance with BS EN ISO 6224, it has a safety factor of 3:1 at 23 °C.
