Do not know yet what to make of it

There are almost no instructions. It seems you also need the hood to keep the heat. We finally just put the stone in the oven.... Cleans up well.

    Virtually unusable on the grill

This would be great, but it's very thick and takes a long time to heat up, so almost unsuitable for the grill.
Very good instead for the oven!

    Pro

    • Very good for baking pizza in the oven

    Contra

    • Practically unusable for the grill

    Fits perfectly

The stone works perfectly within the known limits of the Lotusgrill. I also make larger quantities on the device and do not mind having to re-fire three times. For a change from the "normal" barbecue, we had sensational pizzas from the stone on Friday.

    Pro

    • Fits well on the grill
    • Leaves enough space, so that the heat can nebendurch in the lid

    Contra

    • When fully loaded with "normal" coal, had to be refired after three pizzas

Pizza stone good, Lotus grill not!

Because of the poor heat distribution of the Lotus grill itself (even with lid), the pizza stone is also bad to use. Use it but in another grill and makes there what he should.
