I am not an electrician. But what I do know is that German Schuko plugs are approved for up to 16A, whereas Swiss T13 plugs are only approved for up to 10A. If you need 16A in Switzerland, you should use T23 (square plugs), but this requires installation by an electrician. The Max Mauro adapters work OK indoors (some are also fitted by Digitec before delivery). They are not designed for outdoor use. The important thing with electricity is to know what you don't know and, if in doubt, call an electrician.

The first digit in the IP classification stands for protection against the ingress of solids. The second digit for resistance to moisture / water. IP44 is suitable for the bathroom because the 4 at the end means "protection against splashing water". Even safer would be an adapter with a 5 or a 7 at the end.

No, that's too much power consumption for this adapter. Nr 2 --> https://www.esti.admin.ch/de... The device was bought from Digitec/Galaxus? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to deliver electrical devices with a Swiss plug. If the device comes without a suitable plug, complain to customer service and insist on a cable or adapter, free of charge. Nr 1 --> https://www.esti.admin.ch/de... Just complain to customer service that they are not being customer unfriendly but simply not fulfilling their obligations. Digitec/Galaxus MUST deliver the device with a Swiss plug, they are legally obliged to do so. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Digitec (or any other Swiss retailer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. This adapter is normally suitable for most European sockets (including French, German and Italian). If the Swiss side plug fits your socket then you can use it. Just be careful with the maximum current, this adapter works up to 16A
