What's the difference between the IP20 and IP44? I suppose it is ingress protection: https://www.into-led.com/en/blogs/led-blog/ip-rating/ Meaning 44 is moisture proof(for bathroom for example?)

Helpful answer

The first digit in the IP classification stands for protection against the ingress of solids. The second digit for resistance to moisture / water. IP44 is suitable for the bathroom because the 4 at the end means "protection against splashing water". Even safer would be an adapter with a 5 or a 7 at the end.

IP20: Dust-tight. IP21: Drip-proof. IP23: Rainproof. IP44: Splash-proof (suitable for bathroom and certain shower areas).
