Hello!
I only own the chrome plated ones, but I would say (compared the pictures) that only the finish is different (same scaling, jaws parallel).
I would choose the chrome-plated ones because of the rust protection.
The pliers spanner replaces a whole series of open-ended spanners. In contrast to water pump pliers, the jaws grip the nut/bolt absolutely parallel. This is done over the entire adjustment range and without damaging the screw/nut. What they are completely unsuitable for, in contrast to water pump pliers, is gripping a pipe or nipple.
These pliers spanners from Knipex are reasonably expensive, but they are also very precisely made. A great tool - I would buy the pliers again and again.
Hi Elvalen_m. You are right. There was wrong information in the products title. We corrected it already. This wrench is 180mm. Because of your question we are re-checking all our KNIPEX products. Thank you for your help.
On the title it says 150mm BUT on the product number and the picture it says: "86 03 180"
Wich one is it?
The 150mm OR the 180mm ?! Please!
ALL Knipex products happen the same thing IT'S CONFUSING
