Hello, I also ordered the older version last week but unfortunately only received the new one. Unfortunately I can't give a rating as a comparison, it's my first Guard. Someone had recommended it to me.

Because obviously with the 12 V settings, it tells me that the battery is low...so how do I monitor a 6 V battery and have the correct charging parameters? Thanks

According to our information, this is the successor model.
Yes, no problem. However, in order to obtain accurate data, no charging current may flow for a longer period of time.

Unfortunately, the app must be open. There is no notification function at all. You also have to stand very close to the bike to get current battery values. It does what it needs to do, but it could be more luxurious.
