Unfortunately, we have not found any information on whether there are devices from Garmin that already have the Lifetime Maps World integrated, however, we only have such devices for Europe in our range and the World version would have to be subscribed to/purchased. However, we do have devices from TomTom that have the World or EU&World Lifetime services integrated and you can find them here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/fahrzeug-navigation-91?tagIds=950-1097&pdo=1084-14382%3A285359%7C1084-8386%3A167581%7C1084-8386%3A312235&bra=201%7C507 .

The Garmin DriveSmart 65 Full EU MT-D (6.95") can receive traffic data and supports the reception of traffic reports via digital traffic radio (DAB+). This means that the device is able to receive and display traffic data, including data transmitted by the SRG via DAB+.

Hello, as a customer, I can't answer this question quickly without having to make the same effort as you, because I would have to search for it on galaxus just like you. Your search result gives you the answer. Basically, the suction cup mount and the 12 V car power cable are available as spare parts, which I had bought many months ago. As far as I remember, I had orientated myself via the Garmin homepage at that time. Many greetings and success with your research.

The cheaper MT-S requires a switched-on smartphone with the Garmin Drive app installed to display traffic messages. The MT-D has integrated reception of traffic reports via DAB+, it does not need a smartphone or a car radio. (For power supply, it only needs the cigarette lighter socket like the MT-S). No, the sat nav is only a sat nav that receives traffic messages via DAB+ and displays those that affect the planned route. Either only the message and the time delay are displayed or alternative routes with estimated time savings are suggested. The sat nav does not receive radio stations and therefore cannot play them. Thanks Vivi_S for the question. I had bought the DriveSmart 65 EU MT-D because of the large display and the reception of traffic reports via DAB+. Cool that digitec provides the opportunity for questions and answers.

According to the information available to us, the "Garmin BC 30" is compatible with the "Garmin DriveSmart 65". Details can be found on this link: https://support.garmin.com/de-CH/?faq=w0sjNmRQFR3N58uLaMpMR8

I have no experience of this because I have not yet been on the road with the device in Switzerland; in Germany it works well according to my perception.

My research on the internet revealed that the speed change warning tones on the Garmin DriveSmart 65 cannot be turned off. However, these were all somewhat older posts. Unfortunately, I did not find any newer post about an update that makes it possible to turn off these warning tones. But maybe someone else here can help you or knows more than I do.

I have not yet navigated to a destination in Switzerland. However, Switzerland is offered to me in the device. 2 The announcement tells me which lane to take. 3. 3) I carry out the updates with the "Garmin Express" application with a USB connection via the PC. The device also has Wi-Fi, but I haven't used it yet. 4. 4) Yes, a suction cup holder, a USB cable and the 12V connection cable are included - the latter is apparently also an antenna for the traffic radio (DAB+). I don't have a DAB+ radio in my Volvo either, but it works with the traffic information. For my Android smartphone there is a Garmin app that keeps a Bluetooth connection to the sat nav.
