I bought other microdrippers from Gardena for my tomato plants because even 4 of the ones supplied per plant were not enough. I have installed the adjustable and pressure compensating ones. These are adjustable from 1-8L/h, the ones supplied only give 0.5L of water per hour. I had my doubts at first, but so far it's working. However, I can imagine that you can't install as many as you want before the water pressure is no longer sufficient.
There is no difference, but with solar irrigation you have to take at least 12 pieces (who needs that at home). The single one has been out of stock for weeks. The answer from Galaxus customer service is a disaster, they don't understand the issue at all.
The pump is very powerful and the water output, for example, also goes over more than 15m. I don't see a problem there, but nobody can guarantee whether it will work or not with the distance.

No it does not. I am not aware if there have been any upgrades since I bought this ca. 3-4 years ago.
The AquaBloom L control unit is not intended as a separate spare part that can be purchased separately and combined with other Micro-Drip systems as required.
This is because the Gardena AquaBloom L is a closed 3-in-1 system, consisting of a control unit, pump, solar panel and battery in a single unit. The irrigation system basically works with solar energy and requires sufficient light to charge the batteries. It can work indoors if there is enough natural light or strong artificial light to supply the solar panel with sufficient energy. However, the system is primarily designed for outdoor use (balcony, terrace) where direct sunlight is available to make optimum use of the solar cells. Without sufficient light indoors, the solar energy cannot generate enough power to operate the pump reliably.

Hello, I don't know the exact values. In my application, there was a good metre between the intake and the pump and another metre between the pump and the outlet. So two metres difference and it worked fine.

The amount of water per pot cannot be set individually. The system distributes the water evenly over all connected plants based on the preset watering programmes. Well, you can. However, you have to synchronize the pumps exactly. Usually you set a timer that they pump for lets say 20min in 24h. If you set both pumps at the same time, this would work as long as they stay in sync.
