Questions about Arlo Wired Video Doorbell

Is the Smarthub really necessary? Or only if one wants specific features? For example I don’t want to record the videos, but simply be able to see livestream + get notifications when someone rings the bell or pass by my doorstep. Can I use the product without buying a smart hub? (And yes, my WiFi reaches easily beyond the doorstep.) Thank you in advance for the reply. Regards PC

So first I would rethink the software, I have the Arlo Baby camera and it works partly, partly not "camera not available", together with Alexa it doesn't work at all, it just says: Buffering camera! I bought the Echo Show especially to watch our baby. However, I am very disappointed. Many have already written reviews on the Playstore but you never get any feedback! I hope they release new software with this device? Because otherwise I wouldn't buy any more products from you.

Your deception, on the other hand, is really questionable - I am incredibly annoyed and highly disappointed.
