What is worm composting? It is a method of composting in which compost worms convert organic waste such as peels, tea bags, and other household scraps into worm compost in a special container called a worm composter. This worm compost has a structure similar to that of peat soil. A second product produced is the so-called worm tea. Both worm compost and worm tea are high-quality organic natural fertilizers with a high enzyme content that promote plant growth and protect plants from diseases.
